Potential Responsibilities
- Provide preventive hygiene care and periodontal services within the permitted scope of practice
- Record clinical findings and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Educate patients about home care, preventive dentistry, and recommended follow-up
- Support patients receiving restorative dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign, crowns, bridges, dentures, or cosmetic dental care
- Collaborate with dentists, periodontists, assistants, and the front-office team
Qualifications We May Consider
- Current Illinois dental hygienist license in good standing
- Required CPR or BLS certification
- Knowledge of periodontal charting, radiographs, infection control, and patient education
- Compassionate communication and dependable teamwork
